# PunchKing Hero Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 7, 2026

PunchKing Hero is an idle pixel RPG for the macOS menu bar. This policy explains what information the app processes, why it is processed, and what choices you have.

## Information We Collect or Process

- Account identifiers: We use a Firebase anonymous user ID and, if you choose to link your Apple account before making purchases, a Firebase user ID linked through Sign in with Apple.
- Gameplay records: We store your highest stage, weekly Punch King score, display player name, and weekly settlement results.
- Purchase records: We store App Store StoreKit signed transaction data, transaction IDs, product IDs, granted Chips, Chip spend records, and refund or revocation status.
- Analytics events: We may send app usage events such as screen views, stage clears, upgrades, draws, attendance claims, and purchase started/completed/failed events to Firebase Analytics and Amplitude.
- Local save data: Most progression data, including Gold, upgrades, owned skins, settings, shortcuts, language, and sound preferences, is stored on your Mac.

## How We Use Information

- To save and restore gameplay progress
- To operate global rankings and weekly Punch King competitions
- To grant, spend, refund, or revoke paid currency
- To understand errors, balance issues, and feature usage
- To prevent duplicate grants, purchase abuse, and fraud

## Third-Party Services

The app uses the following services.

- Apple StoreKit and App Store Server Notifications for in-app purchases and refund verification
- Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Analytics for sign-in, rankings, purchase ledger, server verification, and analytics
- Amplitude for product analytics

The app does not show ads and does not sell data for advertising tracking.

## Retention

Local save data may remain on your device until you delete app data. Server-side ranking, purchase ledger, and settlement records are retained as needed to operate the service, support accounting, process refunds, and prevent abuse.

## Your Choices

You can play the basic game without linking an Apple account. Paid purchases require Apple account linking to protect purchase recovery and the server ledger. You can delete local progression through the app's reset feature. To request deletion of server-side data, contact us through the support contact listed on the App Store product page.

## Children

PunchKing Hero does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## Changes

We may update this policy as app features, server configuration, or legal requirements change. If we make significant changes, we will update the posted privacy policy.
